Masters of Education in Instructional Leadership
The Department of Physics has a long history of close collaboration with UIC’s College of Education to provide pathways for students interested in becoming high school science teachers to earn their physics degree and also obtain their physics teaching certification. There is a continuing shortage of physics and science teachers, and if you are interested in teaching we have options that will enable you to earn a BA or BS in of Physics while simultaneously working closely with the Department of Education who offer a forefront Masters of Education in Instructional Leadership program that can open additional doors for a career in education at all levels, including science education.
