Rick Cavanaugh receives 2012 NSF Faculty Early Career (CAREER) Development Award
Congratulations to Professor Richard Cavanaugh for his receipt of the 2012 National Science Foundation (NSF) Faculty Early Career (CAREER) Development Award, one of the most competitive awards to honor young faculty members in the early stages of their research and education careers. The prestigious award, along with a $562,000 grant for the period of 2012-2017, is in recognition of Dr. Cavanaugh's research in the area of High Energy Particle Physics and more specifically his "Search for New Physics Beyond the Standard Model at the LHC ".
