Presidential Award for Siva Sivananthan
Distinguished Professor Siva Sivananthan received a Presidential Award from Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena. The award, presented on September 7th at the president’s residence in Colombo, Sri Lanka, recognizes Professor Sivananthan for his scientific achievements and contributions and society. Professor Sivananthan is a pioneer in molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) growth and a leading innovator in infrared technology.
