The Department welcomes new faculty member Ho-Ung Yee
The department of physics welcomes new faculty member Assistant Professor Ho-Ung Yee to the Department and to UIC. Professor Yee earned his PhD in theoretical physics at Yale University and joins UIC as a prestigious RIKEN/BNL Fellow. Professor Yee works on a wide range of theoretical topics related to heavy ion physics and the quark gluon plasma as well as aspects of the triangle anomaly in QCD, astrophysics, and condensed matter.
