Dirk Morr selected as the 2011/12 Leibniz Professor
Professor Dirk Morr has been selected as the 2011/12 Leibniz Professor at the University of Leipzig, Germany. This prestigious professorship is awarded to internationally renowned scientists to promote interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and research in Leipzig. Professor Morr will have the opportunity to offer the course "Response Functions in Strongly Correlated Electron Systems" as part of the Research Academy Leipzig, and to collaborate with the research groups of Professor Haase and Professor Rosenow on elucidating the effects of ultra-high magnetic fields on the properties of a particular interesting class of strongly correlated electron materials, the high-temperature superconductors.
