Serdar Ogut elected as an American Physical Society Fellow

Ogut-APSfellowCongratulations to Professor Serdar Ogut who was elected an American Physical Society Fellow. Dr. Ogut's citation is "For his contributions to understanding and predicting properties of nanostructures and bulk defects, surfaces, and interfaces through the development and application of first principles computational techniques". Additional details will be published in the March 2012 issue of APS news. APS Fellowship is limited to no more than one half of one percent of the membership and is recognition of outstanding contributions to physics.
