Title: Partial restoration of chiral symmetry inside the color flux tube
Abstract: Chiral symmetry and confinement are two most important aspects in QCD. In the QCD vacuum, chiral symmetry is spontaneously broken, which can be characterized by the chiral condensate. While in the presence of color charges, there appears a tube of chromo-fields between them. This color flux leads to a linear confining potential.In this talk, we discuss chiral symmetry inside this color flux structure. Byprobing local condensation from lattice QCD calculation, we show that the magnitude of the chiral condensate is reduced inside the color flux tube, which implies the partial restoration of chiral symmetry in confined systems.
