Title: Test of the color saturation in proton-nucleus collisions at LHC

Abstract: Proton-nucleus collisions (p+A) at LHC energies provide a rigorous test of the Color Glass Condensate (CGC), a model proposed to describe the high energy limit of Quantum Chromodynamics. I will discuss predictions of the CGC and compare them to those of the Wounded Nucleon Model (WMN) of independent nucleon-nucleon scatterings, verified at RHIC energies. I will show that the models give strikingly different dependence of the charge particle multiplicity on the number of participants. For the first time, this gives a possibility to single out a model of particle production and thus offer a stringent test of the CGC. Based on this observation a novel experimental test of color coherence in p+A collision is proposed.
