Title: "Higgs Discovery : Implications for Particle Physics"
Abstract: The LHC experimental collaborations have recently discovered a Higgs-like resonance with mass 125 GeV. It may be the missing element of the so-called Standard Model of particle physics proposed a few decades ago, which describes in an accurate way all measured observables not involving gravity. We shall discuss what the possible implications are for particle physics and, in particular, for physics at the Energy Frontier in the coming years.
